Abstract

The research has as its object of study the normative review on the requirement of graduation in Law, as a requirement for entering the career of Combatant Officer of the Military Police of Paraná. Destines the description of the basic elements of formulation and curricular composition of the Training Course for Officers, as well as general aspects about the selection process. The studies follow the experiences of the Military Police of Santa Catarina and the Military Police of Minas Gerais, based on the analysis of the public notices of the contest to the Training Course for Officers, and the respective Pedagogical Course Projects (PPC). As a methodology, the investigation focuses on qualitative research and the type of descriptive study, and presents the case study as classification. As conclusions, it is suggested the formulation of contents of the Law applied to the military police activity, the title test for the competition to the Training Course for Officers, the study on the professional profile and the mapping of competences for the functional attributions of the Military Police Officer, among other recommendations.
