Abstract

The selective collection in Brazil is not a reality to everyone, that's why it is necessary to talk about it within schools. This article aims to talk about environmental education in the school ambience, through the selective collection, besides to trying to raise awareness the society, starting with the children. Through some articles analyzed, an activity about the theme was created, to be performed out with early childhood education students, with ludic and informative trash cans, the result was satisfactory, revealing that children have a genuine interest in doing their part to help the planet Earth. The school is an ambience to learn, where the knowledge is shared and the idea about contribute with small everyday actions to help the world where we live should be approached, for these actions to spread in society, trying a greater reach about the selective collection's goals, making it known for all.
