Abstract

Environmental Education is an interdisciplinary way of providing space for reflection for the population regarding the causes and consequences of climate change and other environmental problems caused by the modern way of life. The article aims to present the research proposal that aims to map propositions about Environmental Education for public schools, based on scientific articles attached to the SciELO database, from 2011 to 2021. Thus, qualitative research is used using data analysis. content. In this way, it emphasizes the importance of wide dissemination, analysis and systematization of academic articles on environmental education with pedagogical, political and theoretical propositions that guide the advances and challenges of environmental education.
