Abstract

Based on the principles of dialogical stylistics, we seek to demonstrate the scope of an analysis based on this paradigm, as opposed to those proposed by traditional stylistics. That is, we seek to understand to what extent an analysis based on the orchestration of the discursive voices can determine the characteristics of the author, without merely resorting to the linguistic plane. For that, we took as object of analysis the stories Cadeira, by José Saramago, and Uma esperança, by Clarice Lispector. According to the results obtained, we realized that the Bakhtinian analysis shows that it is a possible bias for obtaining the authorship marks in the literary sphere. Cadeira and Uma esperança are different linguistics realities, because they are different approaches of the world.
