Abstract

The theme of frontiers and identities has a great potential of development either by relating two axes of deep investigations or constituting a theme of great topicality in the worldwide scope. At political level the context, in general, pressures the political-diplomatical realities consolidated in order to flexibilize their criteria; so in this work we highlight the mechanics of the relations of power at a central and regional level by the border of Elvas/Badajoz in the context of luso-Castilian Wars of the reign of Fernando I from Portugal in the second half of the XIV century.
