Sobre projetos fracassados: Eoin O’Duffy, o fascismo irlandês e as guerra fascistas, 1933-1945

O presente artigo tem como objeto a trajetória do fascismo irlandês e do seu líder, Eoin O’Duffy, nos anos 1930, com destaque para a sua participação, efetiva ou em projeto, em três das guerras fascistas (Etiópia, Espanha e Segunda Guerra Mundial) entre 1935 e 1945. O foco maior é discutir as relações entre conservadores e fascistas no período entre as duas guerras mundiais e como elas foram fundamentais para explicar a conquista do poder pelo fascismo ou sua derrota. A proposta de regenerar um projeto político fracassado pela participação em guerras externas, colocada em prática, ainda que sem sucesso, por vários fascismos também será destacado.
