Abstract

 This article shows the theoretical foundations of Joseph Schumpeter ideas about capitalism development and dynamics. The test emphasized the differences between Schumpeter ideas and the foundations of Austrian School of economics. In the other side, this author have points in common with Marx, when he analyses the capitalism tendency to crises. The text also shows Schumpeterian critics to the use of mathematical models and theories based in static  situations, because capitalist economies are dynamics and has tendencies to crises and growth times. Schumpeterian theory of innovations has important followers, that assume the  importance of innovations in capitalist competition and dynamics. For this followers capitalist economies had contradictions and the economic policies do not resolve this problems. It Is necessary the participation of organized groups that are  important to build efficient institutions to regulate the system and to preserve the social order from the instability of the capitalist system.  Schumpeter theory is a precursor of institutional analyses and he affirm that economic theory is full of ideology and each author see and analyses the institutions that are common and permit to have the conclusions that he likes.
