Abstract

This work is dedicated to the study of the evolution of organizational and strategic changes in the Mixed Cooperative São Luiz - COOPERMIL. The goal is to understand the strategic and organizational changes in COOPERMIL. As this case study we chose the qualitative and contextualized approach to interviews and documentary analysis to assess organizational changes along the COOPERMIL and theoretical inferences about the processes of strategic adjustment, key to sustainability of organizations. In this sense, we chose to analyze the management as a means of adaptation and correction in the administration to face the risks, both internal and external, credit, market and image. The study presents results in a reflection on the need to promote effectively the organizational change of cooperatives in order to perpetuate the market, given the importance of this business model in the context of regional development of the RS the Northwest.
