Abstract

The city of Lima is located in the Republic of Peru on the central coast of this country on the margins of the Pacific Ocean, it is recognized on the international scene as the former capital of the Viceroyalty of Peru and is currently one of the largest cities of South America with an extension of 2,672 km2 and with a political subdivision of 43 districts within the department of Lima. That is why this article aims to develop a thermodynamic analysis of the city of Lima, due to its relevance as a financial and economic center for the Republic of Peru, it is also taken into consideration that it has increased its population density In recent years, added to this, the concentration of most of the industries in this area has generated greater development and high energy consumption, with an exergetic efficiency of 20.90% and a CO2 emission of 2.71 E+7 tons in the city of Lima, differentiating itself from the other cities that make up this Andean country.
