O Plano Abc+, Renovagro, Psa e Gestão Fundiária: Estratégias para o Enfrentamento às Mudanças Climáticas no Brasil

Land regularization in Brazil is one of the main challenges to be overcome, both for environmental preservation and restoration, and for the country's economic and social development. Without a clear land title, it is virtually impossible to hold anyone accountable for environmental crimes such as wildfires and deforestation. The state does not receive taxes, companies cannot prove the traceability of their supply chains, and for the land occupants who are working, there is no access to credit or facilities. The PSAs and Low Carbon Agriculture Plan and the associated financing lines like Renovagro are successful examples for mitigating climate change, and it is crucial to expand these initiatives. In a certain way, the plan also contributes to land regularization as it requires property georeferencing. The article used qualitative exploratory research, with bibliographic and documentary review and case study as methodology.
