Abstract

This study aimed to assess climate changes using two variables that influence climatic elements and focused on three cities in the State of Paraná, Southern Brazil. We examined the temperature and relative humidity variation between 2013 and 2020 from three state meteorological stations, encompassing different regions: Curitiba, Maringá, and Foz do Iguaçu. The data analyzed in this study are sourced from the National Institute of Meteorology (INMET). The results revealed a significant increase in temperature in two cities and a noteworthy reduction in relative humidity across all cities. We conclude that climatic modifications are occurring in these three cities, potentially affecting all living organisms. However, a comprehensive assessment involving other variables and a longer timeframe is necessary to make definitive statements about climate change.
