Abstract

The present work will aim to identify and characterize the multiple uses of water in the Solimões River Basin in the Amazon region of the triple border of Brazil, Colombia and Peru and their management and associate them with the Sustainable Development Goals SDGs. To this end, consultations were first carried out on bibliographic materials (articles, dissertations and theses) in the Google Academic and Science Direct databases. This research is a qualitative, descriptive study on research carried out in the municipalities of the states of Amazonas belonging to the countries Brazil (Tabatinga, Benjamim Constant and Atalaia do Norte), Peru (Santa Rosa and Islandia) and Colombia (Leticia), on the topic “Management and use of water resources”. transboundary water resources, as well as for the development of public policies for the region, supported by the objectives and goals of the SDGs divided into 17 goals established by the UN 2030 Agenda.
