O terceiro número da revista Onomástica desde América Latina traz novidades. Inauguram-se duas novas seções: Trabalhos e Traduções. Enquanto a primeira foi criada para motivar a publicação de resultados de pesquisas realizadas por alunos da graduação tendo em vista a importante função educadora das revistas científicas, a segunda o foi para motivar o multilinguismo, difundir as publicações a um público mais amplo e promover, ainda mais, a internacionalização da revista. Com este fim, a partir deste número, o conselho editorial da revista escolhe, para publicação nessa seção, dois entre os artigos publicados no mesmo número.
