Abstract

The critical tradition that deals with the study of the work of Ferreira Gullar, in general, emphasizes the study of the book Dentro da noite veloz (poems consisting of pre and post-Coup 64) focusing mainly on the passage of an artist tip striker Neoconcreto the project to a writer of musical literature, the fact that, according to this analytical perspective, marks the beginning phase of the participating artist. Such an approach, by emphasizing the historical moment that passed the country, without regard to the sometimes contradictory relationships between text and context links the production of this period the general formulations of the "Anteprojeto do manifesto do CPC" (written by Carlos Estevam Martins) leaving aside the proper concern with mediation between literary form and social process, the essence of artistic elaboration. Thus, the compositions of this historical moment became constantly characterized as dogmatic and simplistic, generalized analytical perspective that, unilaterally, the relationships between theoretical formulations and artistic productions of the season left. Created a critical tradition around which the production of Ferreira Gullar came to be seen as a monolithic block. From this, the purpose of this article is to show an alternative bias, who understands the social process experienced at the time, considering it as a starting point for an artistic proposal, with its limits and scope.
