Abstract

 ABSTRACT: This article expounded on the importance of children’s stories and fables, considering the development of the imagination of children, highlighting topics such as fantasy in plots; fairy tales and fables aimed at formation of the child; exploration of resources from the plot of contexts. He addressed the importance of storytelling in order to demonstrate the educational dimension they represent, as well as aspects that favor the children’s creativity on a reflective and analytical approach on the use of these narratives. In this follow-up, lay emphasis on, too, some breeders and their classic works in order to reiterate to readers, lovers of the classics, however readings of training that has been gained so far, remain also a considerable amount of works to be appreciated. The influence, in particular, that the reading of fairy tales and fables presents its readers, promoting in every encounter, something meaningful and innovative, reaffirms, in turn, that the books do not stop to tell us what really intended. Children’s tales and fables are presented to readers in the form of social change, usually with a happy conclusion, to later win the condition of reality, expressing individual and collective desires hither to contain. In order to rescue the fantasy and the imaginary freedom of the reader, especially of small, confined itself to support the role of fairy tales and fables, noting the shape of their elementary figurations over the centuries in order not to dismiss their functionality and identity, with making social consciousness.
