A LOOK ON REFLECTIVE OF THE POETIC FROM JULIA DE BURGOS

Abstract

This article discusses the female authors writing of Puerto Rico author Julia Constancia Burgos Garcia. The goal is to analyze the relationship between literature and the presence of women, but also bring a reflection on the poetry of the poet work which, with its depth and quality of his poetry as well as his extraordinary ability to reflect women's issues of his time, as well as the exceptional circumstances surrounding his life and death, left deep marks in the literature. His poetic contributions in Latin America have made her one of the most fascinating figures not only of Puerto Rico in the early twentieth century, but by every contemporary American literature. He had an intense and definitely short life, but it certainly left an important legacy for literature.
