Abstract

The main objective of the paper is to understand systemically the process of conversion of tacit knowledge into explicit knowledge of the Unioeste’s University Agent. It is taken as object of study the Development Plan of the University Agent (PDA) proposed by the Pro-rectory of Human Resources and by the Rectory of Unioeste in October 2012. The research strategy was the use of Case Study and the SECI Model of knowledge conversionfrom Nonaka and Takeuchi. The article was constructed theoretically anchored in knowledge management and systemic paradigm of understanding the world. The survey results shows that in fact, the transformation of individual expertise in collective expertise increase organizational capacity in the aspects of efficiency, effectiveness, economy and effectiveness in achieving organizational results. It is concluded that the major management challenge of the XXI century is to seek this transformation.
