Abstract

In the current scenario of global warming, the expansion into new areas has pushedthe increase of deforestation having as a consequence the increase in greenhouse gas emissions. In this context on global warming, Brazil proposes to stimulate and deploy, a low-carbon farming. The change only occurs if the adopted technology brings greater gains to producers. Thus, this research showed that, primarily for the producers surveyed, integrated systems (crop-livestock-forest) are economically efficientand generate higher returns compared to specialized systems, except for soy culture. So it is likely that in the medium term there is a change of behaviour of producers in the adoption of these technologies to low carbon agriculture.
