Abstract

By recognizing sustainability as a problem of modern society, it poses two elements: how the physical world has restrictions on uses of resources by society and how the organization of society is reflected in the intensity and patterns of resource uses. The combination of rigidity, location of physical systems and patterns of mobility of capital and labor results in combinations of production that are the basis of the regional economy. It is understood sustainability as a social and political condition and secondarily technical and environmental. Are the policy options that determine the technical decisions. Sustainability is attributed to systems capable of reproduction, with proper conditions for this and working in environments compatible with playback modes that can trigger.
