Abstract

The objective of this article it is initiate the second generation immigrants’ discussion.  This article is an effort to discuss the indirect impact of migration in the receiving city, in this case, São Paulo City. We will focus especially the Latino American second generation in the city. Trying to demonstrate the importance of include the immigrants descendents into the migrations studies. This article include analysis of age structure of Argentines, Bolivians, Chilean, Paraguayan, Peruvian and Uruguayan and their off-spring living in São Paulo in 2000.
