Abstract

Abstract: This article proposes a critical analysis of the growing demand for Multigenerational Education for Sustainability in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), in response to the urgent challenges of climate change. The multigenerational approach highlights the diversity of perspectives, values, and experiences present in academic communities, reflecting the complexity of contemporary sustainability issues. Mobilizing to address climate change requires a review of curriculum frameworks, incorporating not only scientific knowledge but also promoting practical skills, ethical awareness, and socio-environmental engagement. The article examines possibilities for success, challenges, and opportunities associated with integrating education for sustainability in HEIs, considering the intersection between multigenerational expectations and institutional strategies.
