Abstract

The article discusses the presence of existentialism in Pará literary production, between 1946 and 1951, highlighting the poetic and philosophical differences between two names of this generation, Benedito Nunes and Mario Faustino, who had different influences when it comes to the philosophy of existence because, while Benedito Nunes cultivated a Sartrean existentialism, Mario Faustino was attached to the introspective poet Rilke.
