Abstract

Autobiographical studies and the writing of the self are a growing aspect of the field of language, literature and arts studies in the last decades. Which allows authors to reflect on the writing experience, trigger individual and collective memories and at the same time reflect on the work itself and on literature. Gabriel García Márquez presents us with a literary context that encompasses both critical writing and creative writing, Living to Tell(2002) fuse different writing styles, allowing a hybrid text to appear. Reflecting on autobiographical and self-writing, this research explores these genres where the fictional and historical merge with the example of autobiography, memory, reports, reports, interviews that reveal the subject writer. Based on its reading and analysis, we reflect on the potential of autobiographical or self-writing, formulating a hybrid in its writing, self-writing.
