Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the linear relationships between total solids (ST), fixed solids (SF), volatile solids (SV) and their electrical conductivity (CE) of influent and effluent in a biodigester used in the cassava effluent treatment. Were collected 20 samples from the input and output of a digester installed on an agribusiness in western of Paraná State. Samples were collected every two days and analyzed as parameters: electrical conductivity, total solids, volatile and fixed. The best linear relationship was obtained between CE and SF for the two collection points, which presented equation with r2 equal to 0.921 for the input and 0.694 to the output. By Pearson correlation test, there was a very strong interdependence between the CE and SF parameters for input and output with coefficient of 0.96 and 0.83, respectively.
