PESQUISA EM EDUCAÇÃO E EM EDUCAÇÃO MUSICAL: PERSPECTIVAS E DESAFIOS NO CONTEXTO BRASILEIRO ATUAL

A pesquisa em educação e, especificamente, em educação musical, têm se desenvolvido significativamente nas últimas décadas, embora haja ainda potencial grande para este crescimento, devido à lacuna causada pela falta de tradição destes campos em relação a outras áreas, como as ciências exatas e a saúde. Este trabalho de cunho exploratório tem como objetivo a discussão de alguns pontos que ajudam a compreender esta defasagem da pesquisa educacional em relação a outros campos, no Brasil. Para isto, levantamos aspectos ligados à própria hierarquização do saber, além de questões atuais que podem funcionar como entraves para os pesquisadores, e também as características específicas da área, que devem ser levadas em consideração para se pensar a pesquisa educacional, e que possuem relação direta com a própria trajetória da educação no país. Desta forma, podemos apontar para a importância da articulação entre instituições produtoras de pesquisa e escolas, e da postura do educador enquanto professor-pesquisador para o desenvolvimento da área, de forma a contribuir para o âmbito teórico e prático da educação, e também especificamente, da educação musical.
