POLÍTICAS CULTURAIS E OS ESTUDOS DA CULTURA DAS COMUNIDADES NEGRAS RURAIS

O presente trabalho tem por objetivo analisar as políticas culturais, mais especificamente as políticas relacionadas aos estudos sobre o Patrimônio Cultural Imaterial. Nos últimos 10 anos estudos sobre o Patrimônio Cultural e, especialmente, o Patrimônio Cultural Imaterial têm sido trabalhado, aprimorando-se cada vez mais as discussões do papel exercido pelos atores sociais envolvidos, sejam eles comunidades, órgãos governamentais ou ONGs. Abordagens recentes sobre a categoria Remanescente de Quilombo tornam legítimo o processo de reconhecimento, numa perspectiva étnico-cultural, utilizando o termo, Comunidades Negras Rurais em que os saberes-fazeres ligados à terra que compõem as práticas de sobrevivência dos indivíduos. Visando valorização dos saberes-fazeres das Comunidades Negras Rurais, na região sul do Rio Grande do Sul, o trabalho de reconhecimento de terras das comunidades negras rurais teve início a partir das recentes políticas atreladas à Constituição Federal de 1988. Apontaremos como exemplo, elementos pesquisados na Comunidade Negra Rural do Alto do Caixão, localizada no Distrito Rural denominado Quilombo, na Cidade de Pelotas-RS.
