UMA FOLHA SECA NÃO TEM LAR: INTERFACES DO DISCURSO EM RELAÇÃO À MULHER EM CANÇÕES DE AMADO BATISTA E MARÍLIA MENDONÇA

Neste artigo, compara-se as canções “Folha Seca”, de Amado Batista (1977), e “Amante não tem lar”, de Marilia Mendonça (2017), ambas compostas pelos respectivos intérpretes. O primeiro, um artista homem, representante da música “brega”, gênero musical que, via de regra, traz representações androcêntricas acerca do feminino. A segunda, uma mulher e expoente de um movimento musical que, em tese, expressa o empoderamento da mulher (o “feminejo” ou sertanejo feminino). Objetiva-se analisar como as letras das músicas refletem sobre o tema do adultério e da monogamia e a relação dessa abordagem com um ideal feminino de matriz patriarcal que coloca a mulher como naturalmente vocacionada ao casamento e à constituição de uma família nuclear através do matrimonio. Busca-se demonstrar que, mesmo separadas por um hiato temporal de aproximadamente quarenta anos e de suas particularidades autorais, as músicas têm como lugar-comum referendar esse arquétipo e os preconceitos acerca do feminino dele provenientes.
