ORGANIZAÇÃO SOCIAL, CORRUPÇÃO E/OU TRANSFORMAÇÃO? OS SENTIDOS DA POLÍTICA PARA JOVENS UNIVERSITÁRIOS

Nesse artigo, analisamos os sentidos que jovens universitários do estado do Paraná atribuem à política, buscando compreender esta dimensão para além da via formal e partidária. Para a produção dos dados, realizamos entrevistas com 18 universitários dos cursos de Pedagogia e História da Universidade Estadual do Paraná. A pesquisa foi desenvolvida em um período de efervescência política, econômica e social do Brasil, marcado por movimentos como o impeachment de Dilma Rousseff, em 2016, e, em âmbito estadual, as greves dos servidores do Paraná em 2015 e 2016, além do movimento de ocupação de escolas e universidades pelos jovens, entre outros. Para a análise do material empírico, elaboramos três eixos que permitem compreender tendências nas relações dos jovens com a dimensão política. Os resultados evidenciam a multiplicidade de sentidos e experiências dos jovens universitários no que diz respeito à política, expressando que esta dimensão é entendida ora como estruturante da sociedade, ora como instituição e práticas associadas à corrupção ou, ainda, como elemento vinculado à emancipação dos sujeitos e à transformação da sociedade.
