MEMÓRIAS DE MIGRANTES: (RE)CONSTRUÇÃO DE IDENTIDADES EM SITUAÇÃO DE FRONTEIRAS

O artigo traz reflexões pautadas nas memórias de migrantes brasileiros que se fixaram no distrito de Santa Rita, região oriental do Paraguai, no último quartel do século XX. Tem como objetivo analisar as (re)construções memoriais e identitárias relacionadas ao pertencimento em situação de fronteira dos migrantes brasileiros que se fixaram no Paraguai. As análises amparam-se em dados de 14 entrevistas semiestruturadas levantadas na pesquisa de campo e cotejadas à pesquisa bibliográfica seguindo a temática da migração para o Paraguai. Sustentam as interpretações referenciais teóricos distintos em uma ação interdisciplinar, pois entende-se que a ruptura com os paradigmas disciplinares ultrapassa uma construção integrada entre duas ou mais disciplinas. As principais abordagens teóricas e metodológicas partem dos campos da Antropologia Social e da História, do individual ao social, para chegar às discussões sobre o coletivo e analisar os processos e as (re)construções memoriais, com foco no contexto de migração. Os resultados permitem perceber que, por meio das experiências vividas em situação complexa de mobilidade e fixação, estes migrantes utilizam-se de memórias como ferramenta para reordenar o sentimento de pertencimento de acordo com as novas experiências e o novo quadro social, para atender a necessidade de coerência e continuidade de identidade em situação de fronteiras.
