This text is a review of the book organized by Silvia Cristina Yannoulas, entitled “Social Policy and Inequalities: highlighted education”. The book discusses the expressions of social inequality in brazilian educational policy in 6 (six) chapters, each with different objects of research. It’s focused in the multifactorial character in the existing relations between education, poverty and social inequality and the intersectoral and interdisciplinary aspect of educational policy.
