Teacher training faces growing challenges in light of changes in educational paradigms that demand interdisciplinary and innovative approaches. This essay analyzes the intersection between teacher training and new educational paradigms, emphasizing the importance of interdisciplinarity for the development of pedagogical practices that meet contemporary demands. It discusses how the role of teachers has evolved, highlighting the need for reflective and collaborative skills that transcend disciplinary boundaries. Based on a theoretical review, the text outlines directions for more integrated and responsive teacher training to the educational challenges of the 21st century.
