Na sociedade brasileira contemporânea, temos, com forte presença, a concepção de religiosidade em detrimento ao conceito de religião institucionalizada. Mas essa concepção não se faz presente nas poesias da mineira Adélia Prado. Suas poesias remetem para um conceito de religião institucionalizada, predominante na sociedade ocidental até o século XIX. Além disso, o gênero feminino é representado como alicerce da família e do lar, embora a realização pessoal fora desse âmbito também tenha lugar. Desta maneira, podemos afirmar que as poesias de Prado atualizam o que Sennett (1988) caracteriza como uma ascensão da vida individualizada e familiar, com o cultivo da intimidade em detrimento da vida pública.Downloads
