Civilizando os Sertões: percursos sócio-históricos da educação em saúde em povos indígenas no Brasil

Este texto busca analisar as práticas de educação em saúde nas fronteiras da civilização brasileira de meados do século XX (os "sertões"). O que se pretende, aqui, é mostrar de que maneira a educação em saúde feita nas aldeias indígenas manifesta valores histórica e socialmente construídos, como fica evidente na gênese institucional e filosófica dos diversos atores envolvidos nessa construção. Espero tornar evidente que a educação em saúde direcionada aos povos indígenas, no país, seja uma sobreposição de distintos elementos de diversas instituições republicanas, motivadas pelo “desbravamento” dessas fronteiras imaginadas cultural e sociologicamente.Downloads
