POR POLÍTICAS LINGUÍSTICO-EDUCACIONAIS SENSÍVEIS AO CONTEXTO DA TRÍPLICE FRONTEIRA ARGENTINA-BRASIL-PARAGUAI

Foz do Iguaçu localiza-se na fronteira com Argentina e Paraguai e caracteriza-se pelo hibridismo linguístico-cultural oriundo do trânsito dos indivíduos entre os três países. Embora a situação de fronteira seja assim caracterizada, as fronteiras simbólicas entre os países são concretizadas em práticas escolares, que muitas vezes acentuam as diferenças entre os indivíduos (HALL, 2008; SANTOS, 2004). A (re)produção do preconceito com relação aos brasiguaios na Educação Básica já foi tema de pesquisa neste cenário. Neste artigo apresenta uma discussão que toma por base um caso em que a diferença linguística foi considerada um entrave na produção intelectual de uma estudante do ensino superior residente na fronteira. Assim, verifica-se a importância da implementação de políticas linguístico-educacionais para a fronteira, de forma a integrar e promover atitudes favoráveis em relação à língua e cultura de indivíduos dos países vizinhos.
