A perda da reflexão como fator determinante no uso do pronome expresso sujeito em sentenças finitas no português brasileiro

O objetivo deste artigo é expor, introdutoriamente, a teoria de Princípios e Parâmetros (CHOMSKY, 1981) restringindo-se às características do conhecido e famoso parâmetro pro-drop. O parâmetro pro-drop (ou parâmetro do sujeito nulo) foi já objeto de estudo de várias pesquisas gerativistas e, em tempos mais recentes, tem auxiliado nas análises lingüísticas que não se limitam a estudos de língua-I, mas se estendem também a investigações da realidade lingüística de falantes, com uso de corpora. A língua portuguesa é considerada, por diversas pesquisas, como sendo pro-falado, mas outras tantas têm demonstrado que o português falado no Brasil não é mais uma língua de sujeito nulo. Pelo contrário, esses estudos têm demonstrado que a nossa língua tem perdido a capacidade de licenciar concordância e, por isso, exigido a presença de uma categoria expressa na posição sujeito. Neste artigo, estou, então, reportando o resultado de um pequeno trabalho que vem corroborar a hipótese de que o português brasileiro é uma língua que exige pronome na posição sujeito.Downloads
