MADONNA NO CHÃO? UMA REFLEXÃO SOBRE FETICHISMO, MODA E INDÚSTRIA CULTURAL EM PEÇAS PUBLICITÁRIAS DA DOLCE E GABBANA

Objetivou-se com o artigo analisar como a moda e o fetiche são massificados pela mídia através de mensagens subliminares de gênero, poder e submissão. A moda, aliada à Indústria Cultural e ao fetiche, manipula a massa, sendo a mídia um dos principais meios para esse processo. Neste artigo, trabalhou-se com os conceitos de moda, sexo e poder, abordados por Steele (1997) e com o conceito de indústria cultural de Horkheimer e Adorno (1947). Foram analisadas duas peças publicitárias Dolce&Gabbana, protagonizadas por Madonna, a partir da retórica da imagem de Barthes (1964). Observou-se que os objetos de fetiche enredam uma recorrência, a da figura materna, que está na base de compreensão do fetichismo. O discurso da moda corrobora com poderosas formas de controle, maquiadas em arranjos de aparência inocente, pois lança mão de elementos fetichistas que irão se ligar às construções imaginárias e psíquicas dos sujeitos, garantindo legitimidade à mensagem veiculada pela mídia.
