ENTRE A FRONTEIRA VIVIDA E A FRONTEIRA PERCEBIDA: OS AGENTES PÚBLICOS NO ESPAÇO DE FRONTEIRA INTERNACIONAL

Os interesses despertados pelos estudos sobre o território, enquanto concretude do espaço geográfico, não está nele em si, nem tampouco na noção simplista de que o território seja apenas aquilo perceptível na paisagem ou que ele seja somente o reservatório de onde o homem retira os meios materiais para sua sobrevivência. Os interesses, neste artigo, caminham pela analise do território como expressão de forma, conteúdo e poder. Nesse sentido, os agentes dos serviços públicos federais que atuam na fronteira, mas que são oriundos de outras localidades enfrentam dificuldades na adaptação em função da falta de identificação com o lugar e, consequentemente, de lidar com as formas, os conteúdos e os poderes, inerentes as complexidades próprias de regiões de fronteira. Os ambientes de fronteira exigem daqueles que para lá migram, uma nova forma de olhar e entender a fronteira. Para contribuir com os estudos sobre as regiões de fronteira é que este texto visa fazer uma discussão sobre o cotidiano do agente público das agências de esfera nacional, oriundo de outro lugar, que atua em região de fronteira, levando em consideração as relações que ele estabelece com território, espaço e cotidiano.
