To investigate the role of physiotherapeutic assistance in the rehabilitation of patients with a clinical diagnosis of breast cancer. Methodology: this is an integrative literature review. The following databases were used: Scielo, PUBMED, LILACS, and MEDLINE; and the health descriptors: "Breast Neoplasms"; "Rehabilitation"; "Exercise Therapy" and "Physical Therapy Specialty" combined with the Boolean operator AND. The inclusion criteria were: original articles available in full, published in English, Spanish, and/or Portuguese, within the last ten years. Excluded were: incomplete studies, monographs, dissertations, theses, review articles, opinion pieces, reflections, manuals, and consensuses; those that did not address the topic, and those that did not belong to the period between 2015 and 2025. Results: Initially, 186 articles of interest were found, with 160 articles excluded according to the pre-established exclusion criteria, thus 26 articles were considered eligible. Conclusions: physiotherapy plays a fundamental role in the treatment of women diagnosed with breast cancer, making it necessary to implement public health programs and policies to ensure quality care.
