Abstract

T This paper discusses aspects related to the design and development of an environment for computer aided education, considering classical education and special education for deaf people. This environment must support different user profiles, including those who work in schools, where there is an information technology structure that supports client-server architecture (computer labs), and those who are in a learning environment outside of school with mono-user ambience. This environment has been developed as part of a scientific and technological project, which aims to support the teaching of Chemistry and Mathematics through the use of animations and videos in the learning process.
