PHYSICAL EDUCATION TRAINING UNDER THE LEISURE: WHAT TO REVEAL THE TEACHERS UEPA?

Abstract

 The study aimed to analyze the speech of the professors of "Leisure Studies" Course of Physical Education, University of Pará-UEPA. Methodology: We used semi-structured interview followed by discourse analysis. The study subjects were four teachers who ministered during the year 2009. The Problem: How to contribute to a qualitative training in discipline "Leisure Studies" from the analysis of their speech in the course of Physical Education UEPA? Results: The training in physical education focused on the field for recreation occurs through an investigative teaching practice under the foundations of education PROJECT, which is based on the connection between teaching, research and extension. We note that not all teachers recognize that teaching practice PROJECT that is developed as guiding discipline, realizing the need to consolidate this action, although there is a common understanding between them, understanding leisure as a social right.
