Abstract

This study discusses teaching and learning in classroom focusing the relationships between teacher-student in higher education from a report of experiences. It takes as a theoretical basis for the discussion, elements of Freudian psychoanalysis, considering it pertinent to understanding daily pedagogic attitudes, often hidden as psychological ‘acts’, that shows in the educator and student context, which involve inherent psychic conflicts that are there and seek to learn what can seemingly say nothing. This study considers the act of teaching as a relational and permissive to the unconscious desire of student that supposedly can demands or not being taught, in a healthy or perverse movement. It emphasizes the importance of listening so that the pedagogical act is not disrupted by psychological ‘noises’.
