Abstract

This study aims to examine how education is organized in general in the country with respect to its relationship with the proposal to educate for diversity. Considerations about the situation were obtained in examining the social context in which the country is inserted and as well as the interaction of this with the reality of international policy, to observe its influence to shape the policies for education. It is the liberal ideology as the political and economic scenario in which these relations have developed. There was such ideas in connection with multilateral agencies have stepped in national policies, that is to examine the official documents, thus understand, as cultural diversity is addressed nationally. Concluded that it is imminent and necessary to ensure the respect for cultural diversity, but that, however, how this concern is not implemented in line with the reality and the need of Brazilian education, and that the liberal ideas and multilateral organizations influence, directly in the formulation of government policy. Should be considered proposals for the diversity of policies that were not targeted as the existing and that the discussion of them could from within social groups and schools, places where the social actors involved reproduce the social relations by setting up, so , A democratic relationship, with regard to research, development and implementation of such policies.
