Abstract

The social and the territorial have a great importance today to understand the deep change processes that try the outlying societies of the global capitalist system. Many of the movements and of the social organizations that appeared in America Latina starting from the years 1990 show an expressed territorial dimension in its social fight. This territorial anchorage is, among other, a consequence of the impacts caused by the neoliberal politics in the economic, political, environmental and cultural ambits, so much in global scale as in each national territory.
