ANALYSIS AND PERSPECTIVES FOR THE STUDY ON THE HISTORY OF THE EDUCATION IN THE CURRENT MESOREGION WEST OF THE PARANÁ

Abstract

The present article presents the results of a preliminary survey of the referring of de
Paraná historiography to the education in the current mesoregion West of the state of the Paraná.
Divided in three parts, the work initiates with some notes on the history and historiography of the
Brazilian education and defines a positioning in relation to the research in regional history. In the
second part they are presented and analyzed some workmanships of the Paraná history, searching
to detect of that it forms and if these works they make mention to the history of the West of
Paraná. Finally, searching to project a perspective in relation to the historiography on the
mesoregion West of the Paraná, the work presents a survey of the productions most recent in
history of the education and analyzes the incidence or not of the West of the Paraná in the scope
of this production. I We perceive that it has a scarcity of analyses on the history and history of
the education of the current mesoregion West of the Paraná, as much in the positivist
historiography how much in the scope of the carried through recent research in the Universities,
as part of a national trend of privilege to the occurred facts the east and the coast in detriment of
the regions of interior.
