Abstract

Based on literature and regulatory sources, in this study with its propositional discourses themselves about public policy for Basic Education, with emphasis on the relationship between history teaching and education for the ethnic-racial relations and its possible actions that promote educational and optimizing the identities of students of different levels of basic schooling. Therefore, it was made in literature and legal sources. There is much already enacted and regulated. It is expected that the educational institutions to obtain human and material conditions to effectively assume its social and political recognition, appreciation and dissemination of ethnic and racial diversity of Brazil. Contribute to both, teaching practices and institutional (political and pedagogical project) in a multicultural perspective, cross-and interdisciplinary as well as diversification of methodological strategies, languages and teaching resources.
