SUBMISSION GUIDELINES - YOUR PAPER YOUR WAY

Acta Elit Salutis (AES) is an online journal. Thus, manuscripts should be submitted using our electronic system.

Every submission will be evaluated according to the Uniform Requirements of Manuscripts submitted to Biomedical Journals (International Committee of Medical Journal Editors - ICMJE).

To accelerate the editorial process, the journal does not impose any specific layout or sets word count limits. Please choose the most convenient format as long as it is compatible with .doc, .docx or .rtf file extensions. A document is available for users who wish to submit proposals using the journal template. Please, download the template here.

If accepted, authors will receive a layout for adjusting their manuscript. However, we strongly encourage adoption of the Vancouver-citing style (superscript without bracket or parentheses).

We also recommend that all manuscripts contain the following essential elements:

- For cross-sectional studies: please, follow the STROBE statement;

- For clinical trials: please, adhere to the CONSORT guidelines;

- Systematic reviews: PRISMA guidelines;

- Relatos de caso: seguir as diretrizes CARE;

- For other study designs, please adopt the appropriated guideline.
