THE LUDIC RESOURCE IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

GLIMPSING ITS APPLICABILITY IN THE ACTIVITIES PROPOSED FOR TEXTBOOKS

Abstract

The history of Early Childhood Education (ECE) in Brazil shows significant advances over the years. Therefore, with the insertion and distribution of textbooks, some divergences have appeared. One of them is the argumentation about the loss of learning space and the decrease of the experience of playfulness. In this sense, this article, with a bibliographical and documental approach, analyzes the textbook collection for ECE: 1,2,3.... It's time to learn and the respective teacher's manuals, in search of clues that may show the direction and insertion of playfulness in science contents. For this investigation, we adopted the Textual Discourse Analysis, emphasizing two emerging strands: the reflection on Inclusive Education and Science teaching, the relationship with playfulness and the textbook. We observed that, in the materials analyzed, there is a tendency to direct the use of playfulness in the contents of science teaching to children.
