Abstract

This paper discusses to show the intertwining of  policy curriculum in higher education, with the current curriculum and proposed for the Universidade do Estado da Bahia – UNEB. Exposed the theoretical framework for the analysis of educational policies and curricula, highlighting the contribution of the continuous cycle of policies Stephen Ball and Richard Bowe, by Mainardes (2006). Among other authors who supported the production highlight Gomes (2011); Lopes (2004); Pacheco (2003); Sacristán (2000). The design of educational policies and curricula adopted in the text reflects an aspect of contextual analysis. After addressing the guiding theoretical concepts and description of the curriculum of pedagogy, the subject of this text discusses some consequences for the teacher training.
