The “ Social Question ” in Brazil and in the Paraná (1979-1982):

Abstract

In this work we present some notes on the called “ social question ” in Brazil and in the state of the Paraná, in the period from 1979 to 1982. We leave from the hypothesis of which there was, in this period, a determined redemption of the “ social question ” in the speeches and proposals of government is eaten by me solution to a deep social crisis marked by the significant increase of the number of persons living in precarious conditions. And that this redemption was accompanied by a continuity of the political and economical directions that took the economical quick growth as a horizon, even like proclaimed necessary condition to the “ redistribution of income ”, especially through the implementation of the social politics. For the development of this work, we use primary fountains like plans, strategies and programs of the federal and state government, dated from the movement of political opening that flowed in the New Republic, especially the PND III – National Plan of Development (1980-1985) and the Global Directives (1979-1982), as well as secondary fountains that discuss the analysed theme.
