Abstract

This article analyzes a case of racism in his structural manifestations. From the public policy measures implemented in Haiti in the context of the earthquake that struck the Caribbean country in 2010, are unraveled the intricacies of international relations, racist in essence, that dehumanize the life of the black Haitian people. The text tries to show how racism is at the root of the entire history of international relations of Haiti since its independence in 1804, and as today, the country is still suffering from the same regime. Emphasizing the historical weight of these racist relations, the article insists on questioning the philosophical underpinnings that serve as their justification. In other words, this article sought to capture racism not in his dimension of social marker and individual identity builder, but in its dimension of political element definition of relations between countries.
